The tech giant argues the decision harms millions of users reliant on health features, while Masimo maintains Apple appropriated its technology during failed collaboration talks.
The legal battle stems from Apple's 2020 introduction of blood-oxygen monitoring in its Series 6 watches, which Masimo claims was developed after confidential discussions. The medical device Maker alleges Apple poached key employees and internalized its proprietary technology rather than pursuing legitimate partnership opportunities.
